Per chi dovesse passare da Chipata in bicicletta, o con poca benzina, è bene sapere che dal mega cartello ‘Welcome to Chipata’, in teoria la porta d’ingresso al capoluogo dell’Eastern Province, alla città vera ci sono circa sette kilometri, grazie a Dio ho fatto gli ultimo 10 con Ndeke, un contadino che pedalava con gli stivali ed era molto interessato al mio viaggio.
