The head is still a very used mean of transport among the women of Malawi, they carry everything from flour to tomatoes, from laundry to pots, firewood and water. The load is in proportion to the age, and it is not rare that on their back they carry a baby too. La testa è ancora un mezzo di trasporto molto in uso fra le donne del Malawi, portano di tutto dalla farina ai pomodori, dal bucato alle pentole, legna da ardere e acqua. Il carico è in proporzione all’età, e non dir ado sulla schiena hanno anche un bambino. Gli uomini usano di più la bici, anche se oggi ne ho visto uno che trascinava della legna tenuta assieme da una corda. Continua a leggere

Zambia arrivederci a settembre!

23_8-tappa_2Oggi partenza presto dal castello, colazione abbondante, le uova, buonissime, ne mangio che non si contano, voglio arrivare a Muzuzu e ho davanti a me 75 km di sterrato, prima di trovare l’asfalto e devo passare anche il confine a Mqocha. La ‘troupe’ girerà un ultimo filmato zambiano.
